My shiny new (to me) Pentax 6x7 arrived in the mail yesterday! Of course I had to load it up and take it for a test drive immediately. Decided to load a roll of black and white so I could shoot and develop that night then scan this morning.

I know, I just got the Bronica. The plan is to take both through the paces and decide which one I like better. I’ll keep the winner and sell the loser. So far I like the Bronica but I LOVE the Pentax. Just feels better in my hands, and I have an easier time composing and focusing.

But since I can’t shoot black and white with the Bronica (I only have a 220 back for it, and I didn’t want to spend more money buying accessories if I’m not keeping it), I’m going to shoot a roll of Kodak Porta 400 VC with the Pentax so I can do a side by side comparison. Stay tuned! :-)

*Note - I believe the light leaks are a result of my poor handling of the film between exposure and developing. And I had a hell of a time getting this roll loaded, so it got some dents as well. So those are my fault, nothing to do w/ the camera.
